Ingredients
1 tablespoon whole cardamom
1 tablespoon whole cinnamon
5 teaspoons tea leaves
1 liter whole milk
5 cups boiling water
Instructions
Step 1: In a large pot toast the cardamom and cinnamon crushing the pods accordingly, for about 15 minutes.
Step 2: Add the water and allow to simmer down to 3 cups of water, add the tea leaves and simmer further for 20 minutes
Step 3: Add the milk and leave on low heat for another 15 minutes.
Step 4: Turn the heat up and allow the milk to rise, turn off heat, strain and serve hot
