There is something about our mama’s cooking that brings a profound comfort to your soul, particularly when she whips her legendary chicken meal. It could be in the simplicity of the preparation, or the effortlessness with which she prepares the chicken, you will agree with me that mom’s cooking is the ultimate comfort food. Today, I thought I would attempt—yes attempt—mama’s chicken stew in a desperate bid to relive the Sunday afternoon memories of laughter, family and of course, mom’s chicken!
