Step 1: FOR STEAMING
Step 2: Start by boiling the water and the salt.
Step 3: Add the Managu after washing and draining.
Step 4: And allow to steam for 12 minutes.
Step 5: Remove them from the water and cool(shock) in ice cold water.
Step 6: After cooling, remove the excess water by squeezing the managu into balls with your hands.
Step 7: Slice each ball 3 times.
Step 8: In a separate pot heat butter and fry the onions until translucent.
Step 9: Add the milk and mala and allow to thicken
Step 10: Add managu and mix evenly and fully coated.
Step 11: Add the managu and allow excess liquid to evaporate and everything is combined
Step 12: Serve hot with Ugali.
