My grandmother used to make me Ndumas every time I visited her. This is how I discovered the love for arrow root, but for a personal touch, I would like to add a slight mash to the arrow root after it is cooked.

Step 1: In a large pot, place cubed arrow roots and pour all contents
Step 2: Place on the heat and bring to the boil
Step 3: Lower the heat and allow to simer on low until the arrow root is fully cooked through
Step 4: Serve hot
